Connect seamlessly to your Magento store to automatically pull your product descriptions into Smartcat and push it back when translated.
The integration pulls product descriptions from your Magento store to Smartcat. After you finish configuring the integration, you’ll be able to take advantage of all of Smartcat’s features to effectively manage your localization project, such as translating content in a dedicated editor, assigning translators, and managing workflows.
Once the translation is complete, it will be automatically pushed back to your Magento store.
1. In Smartcat, create and copy a new API key.
2. In Magento, go to Localization > Configuration and enter the copied API key.
3. In Localization > Profiles, create a new profile and choose your source and target languages, as well as the desired workflow settings.
4. Whenever you need one or more products translated, simply choose the “Submit for translation” action from the product grid.
5. Translate the content using standard Smartcat features.
Once the translation is complete, it will be automatically pushed back to your Magento store.
