Connect seamlessly to your WordPress site to automatically pull your content into Smartcat and push it back when translated.
The integration pulls your content from a specific WordPress site to Smartcat, either manually or automatically on a schedule. After you finish the integration configuration, you’ll have access to all of Smartcat’s features for managing your localization project, including the option to translate content using a specialized editor, assign translators, and handle workflows.
Once translations are complete, you can push the content back to WordPress with a click of a button or on a schedule.
1. In your WordPress admin area, install and configure the WPML and Smartcat plugins.
2. In Smartcat, create an integration using the credentials from the Smartcat plugin.
3. Choose the languages and workflow settings (e.g. machine, human, or hybrid translation) and wait for the sync to complete.
4. Translate the content using Smartcat.
5. Sync the translated documents back with a click.
The integration can also be configured to push back translations automatically once they are completed or even when partially finished. This feature can be beneficial if you have a hybrid machine/human workflow and desire prompt access to machine-translated material.

By configuring the integration, you’ll be able to use all of Smartcat’s features on your project:
You can translate your content without any interruptions, thanks to the ability to bypass the need to download, upload, or send it to your translators.
In the event of changes to the original content, Smartcat will automatically recognize which sections have been translated and which need updating.
Your project can benefit from the use of Smartcat's translation memory and glossary features, which can improve translation quality, consistency, and save money on repeated translations.
You can use Smartcat’s machine translation features with your project to get a quick and rough translation of your content or to configure hybrid machine-human translation workflows.
You don't have to give your translators access to your source material or go looking for new translation providers outside of Smartcat when you invite them to work on your project.
