Connect seamlessly to your Akeneo account to automatically pull your content into Smartcat and push it back when translated.
The integration pulls fields marked as localizable from your Akeneo account to Smartcat. By finishing the integration setup, you’ll be able to use Smartcat’s full range of tools to manage your localization project, such as translating content in a specific editor, assigning translators, and managing workflows.
Once translations are complete, you can push the translated fields back to Akeneo with a click of a button or on a schedule.
1. In Akeneo, mark the fields you want to translate as localizable.
2. In Smartcat, create a new integration indicating your Akeneo account data.
3. Choose the languages and workflow settings (e.g. machine, human, or hybrid translation) and wait for the sync to complete.
4. Translate the content using Smartcat.
5. Sync the translated documents back with a click.
The integration can also be set up to push back translations automatically once they are finished or even when partially complete. This feature can be beneficial if you have a hybrid machine/human workflow and desire immediate access to machine-translated material.
