See Every Task in Your Workspace — Without Opening a Single Project

Project managers running multiple projects at once have had no single place to see what needs attention. Finding a stalled task, an unassigned task, or one about to miss its deadline meant opening project after project and checking each one manually. And even when a PM did look, some problems didn't show up at all: a task that isn't late and isn't unstaffed, but simply hasn't moved in days, has historically been invisible — neither a red flag nor a green one.

How the new Tasks view helps project managers

The Project Manager Dashboard now includes a Tasks view, reachable via a Projects/Tasks switcher at the top of the dashboard. Instead of a list of projects, it shows every task in the workspace as a single row — one per workflow stage — using the status vocabulary PMs already know from the project list: Not started, Unassigned, Stalled, In progress, Overdue, Completed, plus an Open tab for everything still in flight.

The standout addition is the Stalled status: work where no progress has been recorded for longer than the workspace allows (7 days by default, configurable). It's not late, and it's not unstaffed — it's just stuck, and until now there was no way to see that at a glance.

From the Tasks view, PMs can assign or invite suppliers directly from the list, filter by project or assignee, and jump from any project row straight into that project's tasks, already filtered — closing the loop between the two views.

Key benefits

  • One list, whole workspace — no more opening project after project to find what needs attention.

  • Consistent triage — the six status tabs PMs already use on the project list (Not started, Unassigned, Stalled, In progress, Overdue, Completed) now apply at the task level, with an Open tab for all work still in flight.

  • Surfaces the invisible problem — Stalled work is now a visible, filterable category, not something a PM discovers by accident.

  • Act without leaving the list — assign or invite suppliers directly from a task row.

  • Fast navigation — jump from a project row to that project's tasks, pre-filtered, in one click.

  • Targeted filtering — narrow the task list by project or by assignee to focus on exactly what matters right now.

Use cases

  • Daily workspace triage: A PM opens the Tasks view each morning, checks the Stalled and Overdue tabs across all projects at once, and knows immediately where to intervene — without a project-by-project sweep.

  • Staffing gaps: Filtering to Unassigned surfaces every task waiting for a supplier across the whole workspace, so nothing sits idle because it was buried inside a project nobody checked that day.

  • Following up on one project: From the project list, a PM jumps straight into a single project's tasks (already filtered) to check progress before a status update, without hunting for the right filters.

Availability

The Tasks view is available now in beta, alongside the Project Manager Dashboard's folders feature. Access it via the Projects/Tasks switcher at the top of the Project Manager Dashboard.
