My native language is Spanish, I have learned English since my childhood and also because I do not live in Colombia, as a personal goal I decided to learn the Russian language, currently I have a good level in all three languages. I am a senior lawyer-linguist with 15 years of legal practice, a part-time professor with several years of experience teaching Spanish Philology at the Katowice University and an Economics graduate from the London School of Economics. Given that background, I specialize in legal, marketing and business-related texts. I translate and edit academic articles, newspaper articles, business documents, corporate policies and handbooks, contracts and other legal documents, books (fiction and nonfiction), catalogues, reports, brochures, flyers, websites, adverts and personal documents, and I have a particular interest in, and flair for, marketing copy.

Since completing my MA in Translation in 2010, I have worked as a professional translator, transcreator, editor, final eye, QA specialist and MT post-editor of English into Spanish (Castilian) for international marketing, health and hospitality companies, as well as global agencies specialised in communication, advertising and e-commerce. I am also a confident lead editor with extensive experience successfully leading large teams of editors in order to ensure a spotless final copy: from creating the brief and training the team to nailing the ToV and polishing the texts pre-delivery during QA.
