I have over 25 years of experience as a freelance translator, in various fields. I started as a translatir of fiction and non-fiction books for the Popurri Publishing House in Minsk, Belarus, in early 1990s. Later I was enrolled on a EU Tacis technical assitance project dealing with employment sevices as a transportation officer/translator where I was responsible, among other things, for delivering everyday translations. In parallel, I did freelance jobs for various translation agencies and the above publishing house. In total, I have worked on 6 international projects in various fields from climate change to biodiversity protection in Grodno Region in Belarus. As a result, I have acquired a solid experience in various areas of expertise as a translator/interpreter. For the last 8 years I have worked as a technical writer for a software company based in Toronto, and with a subsidiary office in Minsk. I have been responsible for online help, manuals, website management, customer support, traslation and transcription/subtitling. I must mention a special experience of mine. For the last 4-5 years, I have been very successfully collaborating with a UK-based translation agency which almost entirely deals with healthcare and pharmacology-related translations. A lion share of this work has been from Russian to English. My previous experience working as a crew member on international TA projects had helped me polish this particular language pair. As can be seen from the above, my translation work has been extensive and thorough. Working with me, you can rely on very accurate translations deliver always on time. I am currently a 2nd year RANEPA University student. I know terminology of business english and at the time I study english in law sphere. My part time job is interpreter. As free time is still taking the most part of my day schedule, it would be interesting for me to accomplish additional tasks for a reward.

I have over 15 years of experience in the translation industry, including 5 practicing law, 5 as a freelance translator in IT-company, and 10 years as a technical translator in a well-known oil&gas company. I'm proficient with CAT-Tools and different CRMs, including skills in content localization, and project management. Native Russian and fluent English, and Finnish. I live in St. Petersburg for half a year, and half a year i live in Finland.

I am an MD currently working as a Human Physiology lecturer for English-speaking students in Russia. I've also finished a 2-year residency and a 3-year fellowship in Oncology. In the latter I've been participating in fundamental research studies (and working with literature databases a lot). My experience in translation specifically is slighly more than 1 year, but I am willing to further develop my skill in this area. I feel familiar enough with biostatistics and able to correctly translate specific terms.
