Hi! I'm Nino, from Italy and I'm 22 years old. I'm a Computer Science university student, science & tech enthusiast, hobbyist musician (I play electronic keyboards), scout leader, ttRPG player, gamer and professional nerd :D I'm an Italian native speaker and a B2 level english speaker. I've always been passionate about video game translation and localization, often working to create or improve translations for games I play and love. At this point I've been doing it for over 7 years as a hobbyist and 2 years as an online freelancer and I've gained some experience in the field. I have experience translating game/software content like many minecraft mods, indie games, websites and mobile apps, either working from scratch or fixing incorrect previous translations.

I started my career 21 years ago as in-house translator and PM at a translation agency based in Turin, Italy. I am a PhD candidate at Koç University, Istanbul, at the faculty of Archaeology and History of Art. I have studied English for almost 20 years, I wrote my master thesis in English and my current PhD program is fully taught in English. I have translated a large amount of material from English to Italian, from Italian to English and from Turkish to English in the past years. In 2017 I got the TOEFL certificate with a score of 104/120. I write academic researches and texts in English on a weekly base, using materials written in various languages.
