Being an Italian and Spanish native speaker, I have always considered languages as an ordinary part of my everyday life, but it was only when I started learning English that I understood that languages was my thing. That’s why I decided to learn also German and French in high school. In university I chose to specialise in English, Russian and German to distinguish myself from others and expand my boundaries.
In the last years I’ve had some opportunities to put in practise the knowledge and skills I acquired at university: I travelled abroad and started working as a translator. In the future I see myself working in an environment which can give me a chance to continue learning and meet new people, while specialising in the fields of translation I find more stimulating.
