My name is Kristian and I was born & lived in Romania for 21 years in a native Hungarian family, therefore both my Hungarian and Romanian language skills are native. Starting from a young age I had a passion for English and managed to learn it to an advanced level, obtaining the Cambridge C1 certificate in Advanced English. For the past 15 years, in the course of my work I have translated notary documents, court documents, legal documents, technical manuals and non-specialist documents to and from English, German and Romanian. I am a native Romanian speaker. Being born, raised and educated in Timisoara, Romania, I have a full knowledge about my mother tongue as well as the subtle language meanings of the text I translate. Through the jobs I have held, I have acquired knowledge and terminology in numerous fields. My production on a daily basis ranges from 2000 to 2500 words per day, depending on the difficulties presented by the text to be translated and my fees are available upon request.

I have almost 20 years of experience in translating documents including 8 years living in an English environment.

I love translating legal documents (e.g. contracts, certificates, notarial certificates, licenses, patents, apostilles, legalizations) and other documents such as books, emails, academic transcripts, websites, and user guides.

I've been in translations/linguistics since 1997, millions of words, vast experience, a great lot of fields, I've worked for Google, Airbnb, governments (local and states), just name it. I'm fond of languages. I can speak English (of course), French, Russian, some German, Norwegian, Chinese and even Ukrainian. I've studied Icelandic and am familiar with Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Faroese. Localization/CAT tools: starting from routine tasks such as bilingual files prep and post-processing and ending with deployment of custom-tailored translation memory servers using SVN or GIT technologies. Briefly, I love everything related to languages.
