In June 2022, I graduated from Istanbul University, Department of German Translation and Interpreting. I have been professionally providing translation services to many translation companies and offices for 1 year. I specialize in technical, legal and medical translations.

I have been a freelance vendor for various localization projects since 2013, mostly working with SDL, El Turco and Localex. In the mean time I had the chance to work with several Cat and QA tools like: Trados Studio, MemoQ, Wordfast, Smartcat, Memsource, Transistor, Verifika, Apsic Xbench and so on.

As a passionate linguist, I made my debut in the translation and localization world in 2014, when I was only a freshman in the university. I started as an intern and ended up to be freelance translator at SDL Turkey for 2 years. During this period of time, I gained immense amount of experience and I learned how to use multiple translation tools. Following that, I worked for a transcription company and made transcriptions of voice records both in English and Turkish. Finally, I started working with Localex in 2017 and that was one of the best decisions I made regarding my profession. During my time in SDL plc. and Localex I made translations, reviews and proof-reading in a wide variety of fields such as law, IT, marketing, legal, medical, gaming. I studied in Russia for 7 years and worked there for 3 years. I worked as a journalist, city guide, translator and interpreter. I translated documental movies for Russian Travel Guide, translated so many political, economical, touristic and sport news in a media language for Turkish news agencies and local Turkish news websites in Russia. I also translated the help section of Yandex.Mail service into Turkish language. Besides all of this, I translated so many personal documents, contracts and government documents. Unfortunately, I am not able to attach these works to my portfolio due to company and personal rights, so I decided to attach my post-secondary education diploma. Working as localization specialist for major accounts in IT, marketing, ERP, technical and legal since 2015. Before being freelancer, I have worked in company which is exclusive SAP SE localization partner in Turkey. I took part in localization of corporate and legal texts as well as translation processes of the SAP SE systems. Aside from ERP, I have gained experience in IT, marketing and technical texts. During my career, I have also worked as a project manager for 9 months and managed projects for major companies from IT, marketing (mainly tourism and travel) and technical fields.
