I am a Sworn English-Spanish-English Translator and Interpreter, certified by the National University of Colombia. After graduating from a double B.A. in Philosophy and History, more than six years ago, I have worked permanently as an English-Spanish translator and interpreter in a wide range of areas: financial, legal, literary and medical. I make my best to provide my clients with accurate and timely translations, and to communicate with them as necessary in order to provide them with the results they are looking for.

My name is Cristina Fernández and I am a full-time Spanish translator and proofreader. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting (University of Salamanca, 2012). I am native in Spanish (EU) and I am fluent in English and French. I am a Freelance Translator, at your service on your aim to reach people beyond borders and cultural differences by bringing down the language barriers through translation. My native language is Tagalog/Filipino, a language that is spoken by millions of people, not only within our country but also by the immigrants and overseas workers worldwide; English, on the other hand, is our second language. While living abroad, I learned my third language, Spanish (Latin America). This made me fully aware that there is no better way to touch someone's heart but a word said in his own language--his native tongue. And I am happy that I am part of a community that makes it possible.

I am a qualified translator with a Bachelor of English Language and Professional Translator accreditation with the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For the past nineteen years I have worked for several end customers and agencies, providing translation services. I am completely fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese and Italian and received high distinction in all my language courses. I have worked in-house as a PM and a translator both in Canada and in Argentina. I have been working with agencies around the world (China, US, Canada, France, etc.) for more than 15 years.
