I am an English-Spanish/Italian-Spanish General Translator and a TESOL Certificate Teacher (Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages) with more than 25 years of experience in both fields. I have worked all these years as a freelance translator and as an English teacher for several language schools, as well as teaching private lessons. I also worked as a subtitler for a few years at HBO Latin America Group. I have 31 years of experience teaching and tutoring all levels of Spanish. With a Master's Degree in the Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College, VT, I consider myself to be a grammar expert, in addition to being fluent in the language. I had study abroad experiences in Mexico prior to living in Madrid during graduate school. In 2010 I spent the Winter-Spring semester traveling throughout Argentina and homeschooling my then 3rd grade son and 7th grade daughter. Also in 2010, I began a summer language immersion program, True Immersion, LLC, in Sevilla, Spain for American teens - which continues today. I am highly proficient in Italian - primarily self-taught - but have also studied at the Lorenzo de Medici and Centro Firenze language schools in Florence over the last 14 years.
