I am a translator and proofreader with extensive experience and a confirmed ability to translate effectively from English to Russian and vice versa. I have 10+ years of translation experience in various subjects, including Tourism/Travel, Agriculture, Medicine, Economics/Finance, IT, Construction.. An experienced consecutive/simultaneous interpreter.

I am a freelancing editor/translator for some of the Russian translating firms. I am mostly interested in editing in pairs EN-RU, RU-EN, but will also consider translation assignments in pairs EN-RU, RU-EN.

I've graduated from MSU in 2013 with the major in linguistics. I work with English and French. I have been working as a translator/interpreter in an Embassy in Moscow for more than 5 years. Since 2013 I've been also doing freelance translation.

My experience is based on the study of textbooks on the translation of Ermolovich, Bernstein, Komissarov, Iovenko, Lancikov and other experts. Editing by my teachers, as well as my own analysis. I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk). My language-related hobbies include etymology and comparative linguistics. * Yes, I do speak several languages. * No, I am not fluent enought in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani or Arabic to translate TO these languages, but I do understand them enough to translate FROM them.
