I have been doing translations since 2006. I'm also running a translation agency, however that's a separate business, and you can be sure that all translations at smartcat are done by me personally. I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk). My language-related hobbies include etymology and comparative linguistics. * Yes, I do speak several languages. * No, I am not fluent enought in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani or Arabic to translate TO these languages, but I do understand them enough to translate FROM them.

I am a qualified translator with a BA in linguistics and extensive experience in the translation industry. My native languages are Russian and Belarusian, and I’m fluent in English and Italian, so I can translate in any combination of these. My primary focus at the moment is on marketing, legal and notarial translations together with film subtitling and app localisation, but I’m also comfortable with other areas such as IT and video games.

I translate English into Greek and into Russian in which I am fully bilingual. I, also, proofread texts in these languages and create subtitles. Simultaneous and consecutive interpretation between Greek and Russian is also a service I provide. My specialisms include business, accounting IFRS, legal, HR management, corporate governance, telecommunications, television production, agriculture (wines, olive oil, tobacco and many other products), history and philosophy. In 2018, I graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in Linguistics. I majored in Translation in Economics and Finance. In 2020, I graduated from the St. Petersburg State University with a master’s degree in International Relations. I majored in Studies of the Baltic and Nordic Countries.
