After working for several years for different translation companies, as secondary job, offering translations services from English into Romanian, as well as from Romanian into English, mainly technical documents, I decided to offer my services as a freelance translator in Smartcat, as well. Some of the major companies for which I translated different types of documents I can name Kraft Jacobs Suchard, GlaxoSmithKline, Dexion, Kärcher, among sporadic jobs for Romanian companies. You will not be able to find any samples of my work, other than the standard Smartcat sample document, since I have never asked acceptance from my customers to use parts of the translated documents for personal purposes. I have almost 20 years of experience in translating documents including 8 years living in an English environment.

It started with a hobby for the languages and now it's part of my everyday. Translating is a big part of my daily life. I have bigger or smaller projects, however, I like to do it in time and with the best quality possible.

For the past 15 years, in the course of my work I have translated notary documents, court documents, legal documents, technical manuals and non-specialist documents to and from English, German and Romanian. I am a native Romanian speaker. Being born, raised and educated in Timisoara, Romania, I have a full knowledge about my mother tongue as well as the subtle language meanings of the text I translate. Through the jobs I have held, I have acquired knowledge and terminology in numerous fields. My production on a daily basis ranges from 2000 to 2500 words per day, depending on the difficulties presented by the text to be translated and my fees are available upon request.

I am fascinated by foreign languages, linguistics, semiotics and I am currently working as a translator coordinator in the field of medical imaging.
