I am currently enrolled in a Multilingual Master in Psycho- and Neurolinguistics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). I studied French, Latin and English language and literature at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). I also have studied medicine at the University of Liège (ULiège).

I am currently providing BUSINESS TRANSLATION FROM ENGLISH AND GERMAN TO FRENCH (which is my native language), as well as CONTENT WRITING IN ENGLISH AND FRENCH (Webpages, Training, Publishing, Business procedures and workflows), both to LSPs and direct clients. Education summary: double degree MS in Management in 2004 + MA in Translation in 2017, TOEIC certificate for English (950/990), WiDaF certificate for German (924/990). Career summary: +10 years of experience in HR and Consulting, in France, Germany, & Luxembourg, for various industries, then career change to professional translation in 2016. 4-months internship in a translation agency + 1-month internship by the European Commission. Raised in a bilingual environment (French-Italian), I have naturally turned to languages and translation as a lifetime activity. I have been working as a freelance translator for the past 21 years. I do not own a university degree in translation/interpretation, but the multitude of translation projects I have worked on over the years has done more for my capacity as a translator than any degree could have ever done. Though French is my mother tongue, I have spent the last 21 years living both in French and English (my partner is an American citizen). As a translator, I am both thorough and efficient, and I always meet my deadlines. I also believe that my work with the French Foreign Affairs, carried out through assignments of 2 to 3-year terms in various posts around the world (El Salvador, the United States, France, The Netherlands, Latvia, Switzerland and now Monaco) constitutes a definite asset for this position. My experience in the field of diplomatic relations means that I am already used to working in an international environment, in foreign countries, and with people of different backgrounds/cultures.
