I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love. Since that moment translating has become my main activity, working as a freelance translator with agencies and private clients ever since. In this globalized world, when connections are very important in every field, whether we talk about business, travel, private life or medical issue, I feel that translators are that bridge that allow people to get where they need or where they want. The diversity of documents and fields that I have the opportunity to work with as a translator make me appreciate the challenges and enrich my knowledge. Having studied in the departments of English Language Teaching & French Language and Literature at leading universities in Turkey, I have been working now for 9 years as a certified English & French translator in almost every field of translation.

Raised in a bilingual environment (French-Italian), I have naturally turned to languages and translation as a lifetime activity. With a university translation degree in hand, I explored various professional sectors to specialize in in specific areas - tourism&travel, hotels, education, fashion, aeronautics.

I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.

I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari.
