I am a professional translator focusing on medical and scientific translations from German and Spanish to English (both UK and US). Additionally, I am also a professor at a German university teaching English as a Foreign Language to scientific and medical students.

I have studied Advanced Translation as part of my course at the University of Leeds, which included journalistic, administrative, technical/scientific texts and literary texts. I graduated with a degree in Russian with Class I honours in July 2020, and since then, I have worked full time as a freelance translator and EFL teacher.

I grew up in the USA, before moving to the Netherlands in 2004. I started translating with an opera script, that I also helped edit, which encouraged me to start my own freelance business. Since then I have done subtitling in addition to translation of many different types of documents. WHO I AM: Bilingual since birth I have always had an immence interest in two things: Music and Languages.
