Hello! My name is Dr. April Stines and I am a seasoned Russian-English & German-English translator/proofreader. I've been working in the translation industry for many years. My specialization is in academic texts, legal documents and literature, but I cover many areas of translation: from blockchain to video games. A little about myself. WHO I AM: Bilingual since birth I have always had an immence interest in two things: Music and Languages. Throughout my life i had many opportunities and demands to perform translation tasks on a personal and a professional level as well as privatly teaching languages. My translation experience spanns from simple e-meil and daily communications translations to academic translations. I have studied Advanced Translation as part of my course at the University of Leeds, which included journalistic, administrative, technical/scientific texts and literary texts. I graduated with a degree in Russian with Class I honours in July 2020, and since then, I have worked full time as a freelance translator and EFL teacher.
