I am a native Dutch translator, currently living and working in the UK.

With a Master's degree in Translation Studies and tons of experience, I'm confident I will be able to provide the high quality translation you are looking for! I'm a native speaker of the Dutch language and am highly proficient in English, to the point that I can call myself near-native. I have a Bachelor's degree in Swedish so I'm comfortable translating from Swedish to either English or Dutch, and having worked as a proofreader at a Dutch marketing agency for years, I have a sharp eye that never misses a mistake. I specialise in audiovisual translation and the translation of fiction but I'm always willing to branch out. Drop me a line!

Since 2015 I have been self-employed and I mainly do translations for companies in the UK/USA and the Netherlands. I love my work and always try to make the best of it. My spontaneous character is a perfect fit with most companies and managers.

I work as a freelance translator since 2005 (full-time from 2005 to 2008 and since 2017) and have worked as an internal translator for a translation agency in the meantime (from 2008 to 2017). Before that, I worked in customer service jobs for several companies in different industries (marketing, leasing, etc.)
