I am a NAATI Certified (ENG>ARB)Translator. I have a firm grasp of the Arabic and English languages, and I am committed to ensure a high quality of translations and project management. I've had a passion for literature and science ever since I can remember, and I am particularly interested in learning about different cultures. I aspire to make a positive impact through my work and constantly strive to develop myself - both personally and professionally.

I'm a native Arabic speaker, fluent in English I also have an excellent command of German, Russian and Chinese. I'm experienced in translating various types of projects from simple texts and documents to long articles, web scripts, subtitles and reference books. I've got an excellent Industrial and Marketing background. I'm a Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, OmegaT & SmartCAT specialist. I can translate around 2000~2500 words per day and deliver fast accurate translation plus proofreading. I prefer to work on per word basis but I wouldn't mind working on an hourly basis.

I have more than 20 years of translation, with particular concern about linguistic aspects of the Arabic language and culture. I have been a translator for Syria's government department since 1998. Also, I worked for UN Organizations in Syria then, translating agreements, work plans, and project documents. After that, I left Syria for Saudi Arabia and consequently left my job. I was offered the position of Arabic and Cultural Instructor for nonnative speakers, which, in turn, inflamed my passion for my mother tongue and started to look at it from an analytical point of view. However, after the spread of coronavirus, my old love for translation came up. So, I started looking for translation opportunities. I want to start again with a rewarding project!
