Been speaking both English and Danish since birth. My education in Digital Design has 50/50 on writing and reading both languages, so even though I have nothing to show for my skills yet, they have been enough to bring me through a Masters degree. I love translating legal documents (e.g. contracts, certificates, notarial certificates, licenses, patents, apostilles, legalizations) and other documents such as books, emails, academic transcripts, websites, and user guides.

I've been in translations/linguistics since 1997, millions of words, vast experience, a great lot of fields, I've worked for Google, Airbnb, governments (local and states), just name it. I'm fond of languages. I can speak English (of course), French, Russian, some German, Norwegian, Chinese and even Ukrainian. I've studied Icelandic and am familiar with Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Faroese. Localization/CAT tools: starting from routine tasks such as bilingual files prep and post-processing and ending with deployment of custom-tailored translation memory servers using SVN or GIT technologies. Briefly, I love everything related to languages.

I have worked as freelance a translator and interpreter with the languages English, German, Swedish, Spanish and Portuguese to my native language, Danish, since early 2015.

I've been a freelance translator since 2008, mainly specializing in technical translations between Danish and English along with previously dabbling in Chinese, Spanish and Scandinavian languages.   Through my work as a system administrator and personal life, I've gained intricate knowledge of the presentation of English in a wide array of subjects, especially user-interfaces and terminology.
