I've been born to German-speaking Austrian parents but was raised in English-speaking Canada. Due to this fact and to the fact that I competed my Master's in Austria, I am fluent in both languages and am fond of translating from German into English. Since 2000, when I started my translator's career, I've managed to translate millions of words in a great range of fields, from fiction to medicine.

Translation from and to English, Russian, Czech, Slovak, Ukrainian of various complexity, from real estate advertising to technical specification of nuclear power plant equipment. I approach the work responsibly, I do not violate the deadlines, I try to take it earlier.

I am native Czech speaker, freelance translator and interpreter. I do mostly general, business, legal, medical and technical translations. I am also experienced in website translations, product description and marketing translations. I can do upto 6.500 words a day. I studied BA Filmmaking in London. During my 11 years stay in London I started working as an interpreter for few companies. I was interpreting to clients in hospitals, clients in social services and on art exhibitions. I have been also tranlating and proofreading projects, documents and surveys from English to Czech, Czech to English, English to Slovak, Slovak to English in number of London based call centres, and other types of businesses and individuals. Nowadays I work as a freelance translator.

Worked as a teacher of information and communication technology in high school for two years, then worked as a web software engineer. Run an own web development studio. I was the technical director of the First Nizhniy Novgorod Internet Television for 5 years. Worked as a software developer and test engineer of the DSS (decision support system) for the oil and gas industry. Was in charge of the DSS testing department. Worked as a project manager on launching the Xerox EasyTranslator Service in partnership with ABBYY LS.
